Daytrading Subreddit (r/Daytrading)
This subreddit has around 1.4 million members, and includes lots of discussions about quantitative trading ideas and some about trading software. Many of the discussions are relevant to all traders, not just day traders.

StockMarket Subreddit (r/StockMarket)
This subreddit has around 2.7 million members and is centered around discussions about the stock market.
Robinhood Subreddit (r/Robinhood)
This subreddit has around 1 million members and is mainly for Robinhood customers. It is not focused on actionable trading ideas, but if you use Robinhood and want to get advice on using the NinjaTrader® or TradeStation® trading platforms in conjunction with the Robinhood app or brokerage, this might be a good place to ask your questions. Traders with Robinhood accounts can use the Quagensia Desktop Application with NinjaTrader® or TradeStation® to test their ideas before they trade them.
investing Subreddit (r/investing)
This popular subreddit has around 2.2 million members but is more for active investors than traders. Still, there are a lot of discussions relevant to traders, including discussions about individual stocks and actionable active investing ideas.
Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) Subreddit (r/ETFs)
This subreddit has around 90,000 members and is centered around discussions about investing in and trading exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Options Subreddit (r/options)

CryptoCurrency Subreddit (r/CryptoCurrency)
This subreddit has around 6.2 million members. Like the Bitcoin subreddit, it is not a trading subreddit specifically but it still has some discussions about actionable cryptocurrency-specific trading ideas.
CryptoMarkets Subreddit (r/CryptoMarkets)
This subreddit has around 1.4 million members. It has more members than the BitCoinMarkets subreddit but has significantly less comments per thread. This subreddit is more for consuming content, i.e. links to articles and videos, than for asking questions and getting answers and interacting with other cryptocurrency traders.
Independent Trading-Centric Forums
Some trading-centric discussion forums are independently owned and operated.
EliteTrader.com
This popular forum includes discussions on many trading topics.
Forex Factory®
In addition to their popular forums that cater primarily to forex traders, the Forex Factory® website has features that are of interest to traders of other asset classes as well, including a detailed economic calendar of dates and times of many potentially market-moving, planned economic announcements from many governments around the world. To see their list of forums, click on the “Forums” menu item in the upper left-hand corner of any web page on their site.
Seeking Alpha
Seeking Alpha is not a discussion forum but is included in this list because it is full of actionable trading ideas in the form of articles that often have very busy discussion threads.
Trading-Centric Facebook Groups
Facebook has many “Facebook Groups”, i.e. discussion forums, where traders can ask and answer questions, post links to newsworthy content, and more. There are far too many Facebook Groups to list, so we recommend you search and browse for trading-centric Facebook Groups on the Facebook Groups web page at Facebook.com. You could even start your own Facebook group geared toward traders who share your specific interests by clicking the “+ Create new group” button on the web page linked to above.
