Adds an additional blank line to the outputted code to improve the readability or appearance of the code.
This is in addition to the blank lines that this application already inserts into the outputted code to improve its readability or appearance.
Blank lines do not affect what code is executed, but are useful for showing people reading the code that certain statements can be thought of as belonging together as a group.
You can add a “Blank Line in Code” anywhere that a Quagensia® Action can go. Just click on a location on your algo’s workspace where a Quagensia Action can go and in the context menu that appears navigate to “More Actions > Appearance-Only Items” and select “Blank Line in Code”.
Similar to a “Blank Line in Code” Action, a Comment in Code Action is also located in the “More Actions > Appearance-Only Items” context menu subfolder and they also do not affect what code is executed.
To learn a little more about the “Blank Line in Code” Action and to see an example of adding a “Comment in Code” Action to a Quagensia Strategy, click the link below to watch the part of the “Create Point-&-Click Strategy for NinjaTrader® w Quagensia (Mov Avg Cross Long-Short Rev w Prof Tgt)” video that covers these two “appearance-only” actions. Note that the video will not stop automatically at the end of the discussion of “Comment in Code” and “Blank Line in Code” actions.
