Puts a comment in the code at this location.
Comments do not affect what code is executed, but the usage of comments provides a way for the writer of the code to communicate to the readers of the code.
You can add comments to your code to help users understand it, to add disclaimers in your code or present warnings to the user, as a way to tell users more about you or your organization, including your website address and other contact details, or as a way to display a marketing message.
You can add a “Comment in Code” anywhere that a Quagensia® Action can go. Just click on a location on your algo’s workspace where a Quagensia Action can go and in the context menu that appears navigate to “More Actions > Appearance-Only Items” and select “Comment in Code”.
To see an example of adding a “Comment in Code” Action to a Quagensia Strategy, click the link below to watch the part of the “Create Point-&-Click Strategy for NinjaTrader® w Quagensia (Mov Avg Cross Long-Short Rev w Prof Tgt)” video where this is demonstrated. You will also learn about the Blank Line in Code Action. Note that the video will not stop automatically at the end of the discussion of “Comment in Code” and “Blank Line in Code” actions.
