Your Quagensia® Algos and other Quagensia® Desktop Application data exist only on the hard drives on which your instance of Quagensia and its Quagensia User Folder were installed, unless you explicitly make a backup of your data to another location. You are solely responsible for backing up your Quagensia files. Quagensia, Inc. has no way to help you recover your Quagensia files if the hard drives that hold your Quagensia files stop working, your computer is hacked, or the hard drives in question are stolen or destroyed by a fire, lightning, or another natural disaster.
You can back up your Quagensia Algos and other Quagensia Desktop Application data using whatever method you currently use to back up your computer’s files, you can use the Quagensia Desktop Application’s “Manage Backups” window to back up your Quagensia data, or you can do both for extra protection.
The “Manage Backups” window allows you to make backups of Quagensia user data, delete old Quagensia backups, change how your Quagensia backups work, and learn about how Quagensia backups work.
You can open the “Manage Backups” window by either clicking on the main menu item located at “File >> Utilities >> Manage Backups…” or by right clicking on the “Backups Folder” item at the bottom of the Algo Explorer and then clicking the “Manage Backups…” context menu item in the context menu that appears.
Furthermore, Quagensia will sometimes remind you to make a backup by displaying a reminder window when you close the application, with a frequency that you can configure in the Options window, and you will be able to open the “Manage Backups” window from this reminder window as well.
To learn about each of the backup tasks you can complete from the “Manage Backups” window, you can read the documentation for each task that is displayed beneath the button that accomplishes the given task.
