Quagensia® N Edition (For NinjaTrader®) has over 90 no-code functions that you can use to create NinjaTrader® strategies whose logic depends on primary and secondary price bar data series using point-and-click with Quagensia N Edition. These functions are in addition to the built-in features of Quagensia N Edition that are not Quagensia N Edition Functions, such as:
- The ability to create “Secondary Price Bars” internal variables. You can use secondary price bars in your Quagensia Strategies to enable your strategies to run on a main set of price bars but access data from a second, third, fourth, or higher order set of “secondary price bars”. For example, you can create a strategy that uses the daily price bars for a single stock as its primary price bars, but your strategy can also consider the high or low prices of a “secondary” set of price bars, such as the daily price bars of gold futures or the monthly price bars of the same stock on whose daily data your strategy is using as its primary price bars.
- The ability to use the open, high, low, close, volume, time, and other values of “Secondary Price Bars” internal variables as time series (rather than as single values) which can be used both as inputs into Quagensia N Edition indicator functions and on the left or right side of a comparison operator of a condition such as on the left or right side of one of the many variants of the “Crossed Above” and “Crossed Below” comparison operators.
- The ability to use the open, high, low, close, volume, time, and other values of “Secondary Price Bars” internal variables as single values (rather than as time series) which can be used anywhere in the “When Bar Updates” section of your Quagensia N Edition Strategy where a number or date and time is allowed to be used.
- The ability to use the open, high, low, close, volume, time, and other values of the primary price bar data series that is built into all Quagensia N Edition Strategies and NinjaTrader® strategies, either as time series or single values as described for “Secondary Price Bars” in points #2 and #3 above.
These no-code functions are listed below with links to their help pages. Each of these expression functions is displayed in the same subfolder in which you can find it in Quagensia N Edition’s Algo Explorer and in the context menu that appears when you click on a location on your Quagensia Algo’s workspace where the function is allowed to be used.
